WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy individuals; and
WHEREAS tonight, we join with the membership of the Church Road Civic Association in thanking Mr. Anthony Giletto for more than two decades of service to the Civic Association and its member neighborhoods; and
WHEREAS Tony has been a member of the Civic Association for more than two decades, and served as the organization’s Vice President for 20 years before taking over as its President in 2015; and
WHEREAS the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township believe that neighborhood groups such as the Church Road Civic Association play an integral role in the quality of life in our neighborhoods, which are the cornerstones on which Cherry Hill Township is built, and they acknowledge that the strength of these organizations is dependent upon the dedication of Board Members and the general membership; and
WHEREAS in light of these facts, we wish to extend our sincere thanks to Tony for his continued service to the Civic Association and to the residents of Cherry Hill Township, and to acknowledge his role in helping to make Cherry Hill a wonderful place to live, work and play.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby wish to honor and recognize
Anthony Giletto
for his years of dedicated service to Cherry Hill Township, the Church Road Civic Association, and the residents of Cherry Hill, and ask all citizens to join with me and the members of Township Council in thanking Tony helping to make our community a better and more vibrant place to live, work and play.
