WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy individuals; and
WHEREAS tonight, we wish to honor and thank longtime Cherry Hill resident Cheryl Tuckerman for her years of service to the Church Road Civic Association; and
WHEREAS Cheryl’s service to the Civic Association most recently included a term as Board President, a position she held with integrity and dedication for approximately six years, until 2014; and
WHEREAS throughout her time as a member of the Civic Association, and during her tenure as a board members, Cheryl has been highly regarded by her neighbors and colleagues, and has contributed greatly to the well-being of the neighborhoods and residents served by the Church Road Civic Association; and
WHEREAS the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township believe that neighborhood groups such as the Church Road Civic Association play an integral role in the quality of life in our neighborhoods, which are the cornerstones on which Cherry Hill Township is built, and they acknowledge that the strength of these organizations is dependent upon the dedication of Board Members and the general membership; and
WHEREAS in light of these facts, we wish to extend our sincere thanks to Cheryl Tuckerman for her years of service, and to acknowledge the role she has personally played in making Cherry Hill a wonderful place to live, work and play.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby wish to honor and recognize
Cheryl Tuckerman
for her dedicated service to Cherry Hill Township, the Church Road Civic Association, and the residents of Cherry Hill, and ask all citizens to join with me and the members of Township Council in thanking Cheryl for her role in making our community a better place to live, work and play, and in wishing her all the best as she begins a new chapter in life.
