WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS Kennedy Health System was recently selected as a Philly.com Top Workplace, the only healthcare system in the region to be included in the listing; and
WHEREAS the designation, determined solely by employee feedback, confirms that Kennedy Hospital is a wonderful place to work, and acknowledges the hospital system’s continual efforts to improve for both its staff and its patients; and
WHEREAS founded in 1965, Kennedy Health System employs more than 4,000 people at three hospitals and ambulatory care facilities in Camden and Gloucester Counties; and
WHEREAS for more than 50 years, Kennedy’s Cherry Hill campus has been an important presence in our community, a landmark institution that delivers quality healthcare to our residents; and
WHEREAS we are proud to celebrate this year’s Top Workplace designation, and we look forward to working with Kennedy Health System officials in the years to come to help encourage its continued growth and success in Cherry Hill.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby wish to recognize

for its continued work to serve the Cherry Hill community and the entire South Jersey region, and do urge all citizens to join with me and the members of Township Council in congratulating the entire Kennedy Health System family on receiving this prestigious designation.
