WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS Thanksgiving is a time for embracing and appreciating community and giving thanks for our many blessings including life, love, and joy; and
WHEREAS our community has gathered together once again for the annual Cherry Hill All-Faiths Thanksgiving Service, organized by the Cherry Hill Religious Leaders Coalition and hosted by Temple Emanuel in a show of community unity during this poignant time of Thanksgiving; and
WHEREAS religious leaders and communities throughout Cherry Hill Township have joined together, with the musical sounds of the Temple Emanuel Choir and the Cherry Hill High School East Singers, to recognize and celebrate the religious and cultural melting pot that is Cherry Hill Township; and
WHEREAS the Mayor and Township Council are honored to be a part of this annual tradition, and are grateful to the community leaders who have brought the residents of Cherry Hill together for this event in a show of solidarity that benefits our entire community..
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby join in celebrating the
2012 Cherry Hill
All-Faiths Thanksgiving Service
in the Township of Cherry Hill and do urge all citizens to join with me and Council in giving thanks for our many blessings this holiday season.
