WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS on April 22, 2012 Temple Beth Sholom honored Edward Adleman, Sandy and Jeffrey Brown, and Rabbi Micah Peltz, at the Inaugural Tribute dinner for their dedication , commitment, and unwavering devotion to the Congregation and the Cherry Hill community; and
WHEREAS Temple Beth Sholom welcomed Rabbi Micah Peltz as a member of the Clergy after ordainment in May 2007 from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York City; and
WHEREAS since Rabbi Micah Peltz joined the Temple Beth Sholom family in the summer of 2007, he stands as a pillar of dedication and a true leader for the Congregation and the greater Cherry Hill community; and
WHEREAS Mayor Cahn and Township Council are honored to recognize the exemplary efforts of Good Samaritans and community leaders such as Rabbi Micah Peltz; and NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby proclaim Sunday, April 22, 2012, as
Temple Beth SholomRabbi Micah Peltz Tribute Day
in the Township of Cherry Hill and do urge all citizens to join with me and Council in recognizing Rabbi Micah Peltz for his dedication and commitment to Temple Beth Sholom and Cherry Hill Township.
