WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS tonight, four Cherry Hill residents, Rev. Edwin A. Martinez, Marilyn Martínez, Robert Milner, and Eddie Rosado, are being recognized for their dedication to improving the quality of life of Hispanics and all residents of Camden County; and
WHEREAS Cherry Hill resident Robert Milner has held leadership positions in various organizations across Camden County, serving as President and Treasurer of the NJ Pharmacist Association, Director of the PAC, President of Region 6 of the NJPA, member and past President of the ERB of the City of Camden, organizer of the Camden County Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, and Trustee of the Hispanic Family Centers; and
WHEREAS as a pharmacist and business owner of RXD Pharmacies in Camden and Philadelphia, Mr. Milner strives to provide optimal care to all patients; and
WHEREAS September 15 to October 15, 2012, is nationally recognized at Hispanic Heritage Month, and it is fitting that we recognize those who have had a lasting impact on the community; and
WHEREAS Mayor Cahn and Township Council are honored to recognize Mr. Milner and the rest of tonight’s honorees, for their exemplary efforts as leaders of our community.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby proclaim Friday, October 12, 2012, as
Robert Milner Day
in the Township of Cherry Hill and do urge all citizens to join with me and Council in recognizing Robert Milner for his dedication and lifelong commitment to improving the lives of Camden County’s Hispanic population, and our entire community.
