WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy individuals; and
WHEREAS today, friends and family have gathered together to celebrate the homecoming and send off of United States Army Sergeant First Class Kenneth Sineath; and
WHEREAS Sergeant First Class Sineath, a valuable member of the Cherry Hill community, has honorably served and defended our great nation since 2002, when he joined the US Army as a Special Forces member in the 5th Infantry Airborne Division; and
WHEREAS during Sergeant First Class Sineath’s military career, he has gone above and beyond the call of duty and has received numerous medals and accommodations, including the prestigious Purple Heart, Army Commendation, Army Achievement, Afghanistan and Iraq Campaign, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary, Global War on Terrorism Service, and NATO medals, along with several more badges, awards, and honors for his tireless dedication and commitment to our country; and
WHEREAS throughout the history of the United States, American veterans like Sergeant First Class Sineath have served with honor in the most difficult circumstances, and for that, they deserve our deepest appreciation and respect; and
WHEREAS the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township are proud and pleased to join friends, family members, and the entire Cherry Hill community as we celebrate and welcome home Sergeant First Class Kenneth Sineath.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby proclaim Saturday, November 17, 2012 as

Kenneth Sineath Day
in the Township of Cherry Hill and do urge all citizens to join with me and Council in welcoming home Sergeant First Class Kenneth Sineath, thanking him for his service to our nation, and wishing him health and safety as he continues defending our country, both at home and abroad.
