Upcoming Road Work

Friday, May 10  - Chapel Ave will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC between Rt 38 and Woodland Ave, from 9AM to 3PM daily, Friday 5/10 and then again Monday 5/13 through Wednesday 5/15 for electric line & utility pole repairs. Marked detours will be set in place, diverting traffic to Haddonfield Road and to Longwood Ave to move around this closure.

Monday, May 13 -  Brace Rd between Berlin Rd and Kresson Rd will have a Lane Shift in effect, Mon 5/13 through Tues 5/14, 8AM to 3PM daily. Two-way traffic will be maintained the entire time, but both lanes of traffic will be shifted to one side.

Tuesday, May 14 - Work at Springdale Rd and Evesham Rd, one day only 5/14 from 8AM-5PM. The right lane of Springdale Rd southbound across from the Holly Ravine Center and the right lane of Evesham Rd westbound in front of ShopRite will both be restricted. One lane will remain open in each of those directions. Underground work will be occurring in the corner of this intersection in the area of the TD Bank. Police will be on location.

Thursday, May 16 - Kresson Road will have OVERNIGHT ALTERNATING TRAFFIC in the area of the Turnpike bridge, Thursday & Friday 5/16 and 5/17, between 8PM and 6AM each night. Traffic will be alternating in one direction at a time, between Howard Johnson Road and Browning Lane; police will be on location.

Monday, May 20 -  Hampton Road eastbound will be CLOSED at Cuthbert Blvd, Monday through Friday between 9AM and 3PM for two weeks, from 5/20 through 5/31. During these work times, Hampton Rd (southbound only) will be re-opened at Chapel Ave.

  • Access to the Inspection Station during its operating hours will only be open through the posted detour route-
    • Cuthbert Blvd to Chapel Ave, right onto Chapel toward Hampton Rd, right on Hampton back up to the station. Departing traffic will then be directed to make only left turns out of the station, to get back out to Cuthbert Blvd at the traffic light.
  • Hampton Rd will be re-closed at Chapel Ave at the conclusion of each day as a full overnight / weekend detour.
    • Walmart Shopping Center traffic will have full access in and out of the complex the entire time using the traffic signal across from Camden Catholic High School.

Please plan routes around these work zones, congestion and delays will be expected at each location.
