WINTER WEATHER UPDATE: Plows continue working across town; delayed opening at Town Hall Friday

Formatted HTML message

Plows continue operation; delayed opening at Town Hall on Friday, March 6

Township plows are out and continue working to clear roads as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible. Public Works currently expects to complete all routes by midnight tonight.

This has been a long and difficult storm, and icy conditions and extremely low temperatures will persist through the night. Residents should continue to limit travel overnight, and stay home unless absolutely necessary to allow road crews to continue to do their jobs.

A slow morning commute is expected. Please be sure to remove all ice and snow from your vehicle BEFORE you leave home. Travel slowly, and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Below are the latest weather-related updates:

  • The Cherry Hill Municipal Building and the Cherry Hill Public Library will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 6.
  • Cherry Hill Schools have announced that they will be closed on Friday. A make-up day has been scheduled for June 19. All after-school and evening activities on Friday are also cancelled.
  • Trash and recycling collection will resume on Friday. Thursday's routes will be collected Friday, and Friday's routes will be completed on Saturday. When placing trash and recycling cans out at night, make sure to leave them on the curb and out of the street, to ensure plows can operate effectively.
