"Meet the Artists" Opening ReceptionMay 2, 6 p.m., FreeFeatures original two-dimensional works in watercolor, pastels, oils and more. All artwork is available for sale. Artists will be on hand to meet and discuss their work. Artist awards will be given and light refreshments will be served.
Ensemble Concert: Beautiful MusicMay 3, 3 p.m., $15 (Gold Card: $12; Students: $5)Enjoy a lively afternoon with talented musicians from the Ocean City Pops, led by musical director William Scheible. This concert will bring you the music of Carole King, James Taylor and others.
Luncheon with the Arts for Seniors featuring "Turandot"May 8, 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., $5 ($8 on 5/8)Puccini's film opera, Turandot, will include a pizza and tossed salad lunch served during intermission. In this opera, to win the hand of Princess Turandot, suitors must first answer her three riddles, but an incorrect answer sends the suitor to the executioner.
Comedy Night at Croft Farm (21+ audience)May 9, 7 p.m., $25 ($30 at the door)Cherry Hill native and "America's Got Talent" finalist Joe Matarese will have you laughing all night. His act pokes fun at his subtly dysfunctional Italian family, life with a five year old, and a baby daughter, and his marriage to a psychologist (his perfect match). Ticket includes light fare and 2 drinks from Kaminski's Sports Bar and Restaurant.
