Cherry Hill Announces "Project Medicine Drop"
On Thursday April 18th, New Jersey Attorney General Chiesa joined Cherry Hill Police Chief DelCampo and Mayor Cahn to announced the next step in continuing the fight against prescription drug abuse. The Township has partnered with the Division of Consumer Affairs as they expand “Project Medicine Drop,” a statewide initiative to help everyday citizens join the fight against the abuse of addictive, deadly prescription drugs. Under Project Medicine Drop, Cherry Hill Township has installed a lockable, metal “prescription drug drop box” outside of the Police window at Town Hall. Cherry Hill residents are invited to come in and use the boxes 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to dispose of their unused and expired prescription medications. Mayor Cahn Marks First 100 Days Serving Cherry Hill
Mayor Cahn's weekly column for the week of April 20th recapped some of the campaign promises kept and accomplishments achieved during his first 100 days in office. Since taking office on January 1, 2012, Mayor Cahn has held over two hundred meetings on an array of important Cherry Hill issues. Those meetings included conversations with our police and fire chiefs, as well as with our religious, civic and senior leaders. During these first 100 days, Mayor Cahn, members of the council and Township administrators have attended more than fifty events throughout Cherry Hill, including gatherings hosted by many of our civic and community organizations. You can read the Mayor's column by clicking HERE.

Swearing In Fire Commissioner Kelly
On Monday, April 16th, Mayor Cahn joined friends, family, firefighters, and fire officials at the Cherry Hill Fire Department on Marlkress Rd. to swear in new Fire Commissioner William Kelly. Mayor Cahn thanked the firefighters for their service protecting the residents of Cherry Hill Township and congratulated Commissioner Kelly on taking the oath of office. Volunteer For The Green Hands Cleanup Tomorrow!
On Saturday, April 21st, Cherry Hill will hold its Green Hands Cleanup from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Volunteers will meet at Croft Farm Arts Center, 100 Bortons Mill Road and the cleanup will go on rain or shine. Volunteers will help clean up trash along the roadway, as well as maintain and reinforce the trails. Green Hands Volunteer is a national movement. You can find more information HERE.
             
Still Time To Apply For The Cherry Hill Business Council

We are still seeking applications for the Cherry Hill Business Council, which is a volunteer committee comprised of business leaders throughout the town. The Business Council will be made up of CEO’s, owners, and leaders from businesses of all sizes and will serve as an incubator, providing a forum for business leaders to share their opinions, concerns, and suggestions about how the Township can provide them better support and assistance. 2012 Mountain Bike Skills Clinic Series
The Jersey Off Road Bicycle Association and Keswick Cycle, in partnership with the Cherry Hill Township Department of Parks & Recreation, the Cherry Hill Environmental Advisory Committee and Sustainable Cherry Hill, invite you to the 2012 Mountain Bike Skills Clinic Series at the Kresson Trails in Cherry Hill, NJ. The free clinics are held the third Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Kresson Trails located near the Kresson and Springdale intersection in Cherry Hill. Join Us For Earth Festival Next Weekend
Come enjoy all things Green at the 2012 Earth Festival next weekend on Saturday April 28th from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at Croft Farm, 100 Bortons Mill Rd. There will be free admission, with food and crafts available for purchase. The day will begin at 9:00 am with a Family Fun Bike Ride through the Barclay neighborhood. We will be launching the Mayor's wellness campaign during the afternoon with activities including a hike on the trails and run at the track. An Evening Of Environmentally Friendly Fashions

A Presentation For Adults: Bullying, Cyber-Bullying and Teen Depression

You Can Support Project Graduation
Project Graduation at Cherry Hill East and West provides seniors with a drug and alcohol free environment in which to safely celebrate their “first reunion.” Cherry Hill East and West are raising funds to support their Project Graduation efforts. You can support Cherry Hill West's Project Graduation as they hold a Community Yard Sale on April 28th from 8am - 1pm in the West parking lot. During the Yard Sale, Ford Motor Company will sponsor "Drive One 4UR School".
