Art Blooms Juried Art ExhibitSaturday, April 26 - May 10, 2014
CALL FOR ARTISTS!!
The Cherry Hill Arts Board is seeking artists for their annual Juried Art Exhibit.
INTAKE: Wednesday, April 23 from 4-7 pm
Croft Farm Arts Center,100 Bortons Mill Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034
Open to all artists, Cost is $10 per entry (maximum 3 entries per artist).
“Meet the Artists” Opening ReceptionApril 26, 6 p.m., FreeFeatures original two-dimensional works in watercolor, pastels, oils and more. All artwork is available for sale. Artists will be on hand to meet and discuss their work. Artist awards will be given and light refreshments will be served.
Luncheon with the Arts for Seniors featuring “Mona Lisa Smile”May 2, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., $5 ($8 on 5/2)A free-thinking art professor teaches conservative 50’s Wellesley girls to question their traditional societal roles. A sandwich and tossed salad lunch will be served before the film.
Ensemble Concert: The Great ItaliansMay 4, 3 p.m., $15 (Gold Card: $12; Students: $5)Enjoy a lively afternoon with talented musicians from the Academy of Vocal Arts, Philadelphia Orchestra and Ocean City Pops, led by musical director William Scheible. This concert will bring you the music of great Italian singers from Puccini through Sinatra.
Cherry Hill’s Entertainment: Then and NowMay 7, 7 p.m., FreeThe Cherry Hill Historical Commission bring you the history of entertainment in Cherry Hill. Light refreshments will be served.
The Luck Brothers in concertMay 10, 7 - 9 p.m., $5 ($7 at the door)Don’t miss this evening performance by The Luck Brothers as they bring you blues, soul and classic rock & roll. The band has written songs for, performed and recorded with Lou Rawls, Sister Sledge, BeeGees, Anita Baker, Lionel Ritchie and more.

Earth FestivalApril 26, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Free admissionA collaboration between Sustainable Cherry Hill and Cherry Hill Township to celebrate all things green! A family fun bike ride will kick off the event at 8:30 a.m. through the adjacent Barclay Farm neighborhood. This day will be filled with entertainment, informative displays, activities, vendors and food.
Mad Hatter Tea PartyMay 3, 2 - 4 p.m., $15 for 2; $5 for each additional personYou’re invited to a mother and daughter Mad Hatter Tea Party! Wear your favorite hat, silly or fancy, and bring your favorite tea cup. Refreshments will be served and lawn games played. *Seating is limited so RSVP your attendance to 856-488-7868.
