Exercise, cultural activities among winter recreation highlights
Registration is going on now for Township classes and events through the winter. A comprehensive listing of our offerings can be found in the latest issue of the Community Magazine, which arrived in homes late last month. The 32-page magazine also features Township news and events from the past few months. Highlights of this season’s offerings include:

  • Lean Mean Diva Machine Boot Camp, 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursdays: This no-nonsense, total body high-intensity interval training boot camp is perfect for those of you who are serious about burning off unwanted fat and sculpting lean muscle in less than an hour a week. All fitness levels, ages, shapes and sizes are welcome. Classes held at the Carman Tilelli Community Center.
  • Italian (beginner), 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays: Attendees learn the Italian language, starting with basics such as pronunciation, greetings, grammar and simple vocabulary, and ultimately ending with the ability to speak and write while enjoying the activity. Classes held in the Carman Tilelli Community Center; a “beginner and beyond” class is also available.
  • Digital Photography, 7 to 8:30 Tuesdays: Students learn about camera usage, composition, forms of lighting, using Photoshop to edit and enhance images, and much more. Students need to supply a camera; ink and paper will be provided.

The full slate of classes can be found in the Community Magazine; to view it electronically, or for online registration, click here. For more information, call the Recreation Department at (856) 488-7868.
