FEMA to hold information session Tuesday, Nov. 20 at the Cherry Hill Public Library

Dear Neighbor:

Cherry Hill Township and the Cherry Hill Office of Emergency Management have partnered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to offer a free informational session for residents affected by Hurricane Sandy on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Cherry Hill Public Library.

From 5 to 9 p.m., FEMA representatives will be available to meet with residents in the library’s lower level Conference Center to answer questions and help individuals apply for disaster assistance. Representatives from the Small Business Association are also scheduled to attend. Computers will be available for those need assistance registering for disaster aid online. 

Residents from Cherry Hill and surrounding municipalities are invited and encouraged to attend. Please help us spread the word about this important resource.

TRAFFIC ALERT
Sewer main replacement work today on Greentree Road

On Monday, Nov. 19, and Tuesday, Nov. 20, the Township
Engineering Department will begin a sewer main replacement project on
Greentree Road between Greentree Way and Green Acre Drive North.

On both
days, traffic will be restricted to one lane of alternating traffic
flow. The road will reopen on Wednesday, and will remain open through
the holiday weekend. Work will resume Monday, Nov. 26 and continue through Tuesday, Nov. 27.


Crews will be on site from approximately 7 a.m. to 5
p.m. each day. Delays are expected. Drivers should plan their commutes
accordingly, and seek alternate routes if possible.
