Zoning Ordinance
Updating Process
The Township of Cherry Hill is in the process of comprehensively updating its zoning ordinance, which includes bringing the ordinance into conformance with
Residential Site Improvement Standards (RSIS), federal
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, and current construction codes. The land development ordinances currently consist of three separate ordinances containing 37 articles of 1976 Zoning Ordinance, 13 articles of the 1968 Subdivision Ordinance, and five articles of Ordinance 76-68. At the end of the adoption process, all 55 articles will be consolidated into one comprehensive ordinance of 12 articles.
As we work toward this goal, articles of the ordinance will be posted for public review and comment as well as for use once adopted.
