- EMS Operations – CHFD Basic Life Support (BLS) Units, our ambulances, respond from three of Cherry Hill Fire Department’s six fire stations. These three ambulances, located at Station 22, Station Three, and Station Six, are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At times of peak demand, when EMS emergency call volume increases significantly, we add a fourth ambulance at Station Five.
- Fire Operations – Cherry Hill Fire Department fire apparatus respond from six fire stations staggered throughout the 25 square miles of Cherry Hill Township. Each station covers an assigned “response local” in town, and responds to calls in other response locals depending on incident needs. Each station is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days of week.
- Just as CHFD responds to other jurisdictions when requested, other fire departments respond to Cherry Hill Township during larger incidents in accordance with our mutual aid agreements.
- You may see CHFD apparatus in different towns within the region. This is a result of mutual aid agreements which are pre-determined plans for larger incidents in other municipalities that require additional manpower.
