Signal Improvements
The Township maintains a total of 44 traffic signals and 8 schools flashers. The Department of Engineering in conjunction with our Municipal Engineer and the Cherry Hill Fire Department routinely reviews the operation of these signals and recommends timing improvements, equipment upgrades, and intersection improvements that may be warranted. Traffic signal improvements are then solicited within the Townships Capital Improvement Program or funding is requested from the Camden County Board of Freeholders. The intent of the monitoring and periodic improvements to these infrastructure improvements is to provide for efficiency and safety of both motorist and pedestrians.
