Side by Side is a domestic violence crisis team that works with the Cherry Hill & Haddonfield Police Departments and the Camden County Women's Center to provide strong and caring support for victims of domestic violence.

The Side by Side team is a group of trained volunteers who provide 24-hour coverage seven days-per-week. Team members are taught to assist victims and their children through crisis intervention.

Each intervention begins when the police respond to a domestic violence call. The victim is met at the police station by a certified Side by Side volunteer who offers emotional support as well as information about legal rights, court processes, and community resources or referrals as needed. Side by Side recognizes the need to empower victims to break the cycle of violence.
