Welcome to the Recreation Department! The Recreation Department
sponsors over 50 community events each year including Spring Family
Festival, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Living History Day and Pumpkin
Festival for Cherry Hill residents to enjoy. Check out the Community
Calendar each month for upcoming Township-sponsored events.
In addition, the Recreation Department also oversees community
athletics, history, arts, culture and summer camp programs at sites
throughout the Township. They also provide adult education classes
including computers, foreign languages and dance throughout the
year. Look for our Community Program Booklets at the beginning of
each season for course and registration information. A downloadable
version is also available using the links on the right. Registration
can be done by mail or in person through the Recreation Department.
The Recreation Department also coordinates the Croft Farm Ensemble
Series and oversees two township-owned historic properties: the
Barclay
Farmstead and Croft Farm along with the Cherry Hill Historical
Commission.
Additionally, the Recreation Department provides programs and services
for senior citizens with the help of the Senior
Citizen Advisory Board and organizes Arts events in Cherry
Hill for adults and teens with the Cherry Hill Arts
Advisory Board and the Teen Arts Advisory Board.
