About the Recreation Department

Welcome to the Recreation Department! The Recreation Department sponsors many events each year and oversees community athletics, history, arts, cultural and summer camp programs at sites throughout the Township.

In addition, the Recreation Department also provides a new schedule of youth, adult and senior education classes each season. Community Program Booklets are mailed to each home in Cherry Hill, but can also be downloaded by clicking the image below.  Registration can be done by mail or in person through the Recreation Department.

The Recreation Department along with the Cherry Hill Historical Commission oversees two township-owned historic properties: Barclay Farmstead and Croft Farm.

The Historical Commission, Arts Board and Senior Citizen Advisory Board work together with the Recreation Department to plan a variety of events and activities throughout the year for residents of all ages.

Senior Services Hotline (856-661-4800/Seniors@CHTownship.com)

A reference guide of Senior Services is available for pick up at Town Hall (820 Mercer Street, Room 102).

The Recreation Department also works throughout the year with the Cherry Hill Alliance on Alcohol & Drug Abuse and the Ombudsman for Disabled Citizens.
