The Office of the Registrar and Municipal Clerk keeps official Township records, issues licenses and dispenses voter registration forms.  The Municipal Clerk is also the liaison to the Township Council and administrator of the regular Council meetings.

Voter registration forms are available in the Office of the Registrar and Municipal Clerk, Room 107 at Town Hall. Voting is in person at the polling place in your electoral district. A sample ballot indicating polling places and hours will be mailed to registered voters before each election.

The Clerk's Office also has absentee ballot applications. Absentee ballot applications are available to registered voters who are ill, physically disabled, observing a religious holiday, unable to vote during poll hours due to work hours or who will be out of the state on Election Day, and to students who are temporary residents at a school, college or university. Applications for absentee ballots are available by mail or in person at the Municipal Clerk.

The Office of the Registrar and Municipal Clerk handles requests for information, permits and vital records, including marriage, birth and death certificates.

This office processes requests for certified copies of vital records of events that occurred in Cherry Hill Township. Send a written request stating the specifics of the event, including names and date with a stamped, self-addressed envelope and the required fee of $12 to: Cherry Hill Township, 820 Mercer Street, Room 107, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.

For marriage license applications, please call 488-7892 to set up an appointment. At the time of the appointment, the bride, groom and one witness over the age of 18 that knows both the bride and groom must be present to complete the marriage license application.
