The Cherry Hill Alliance on Alcohol and Drug Abuse is a non-profit volunteer organization funded by Cherry Hill
Township and the Governor's Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. We sponsor community education programs, promote
substance abuse awareness and offer a variety of prevention programs.
The public is encouraged to attend our monthly meetings and become active members of the Alliance as volunteers.
For more information, call the Alliance office at 856-488-7889.
Among the variety of events we sponsor is the National Red Ribbon Week campaign -- a substance abuse awareness
campaign targeted to our youth from kindergarten through 12th grade. In both public and private schools in Cherry Hill,
this program reaches well over 15,000 students.
The Alliance also publishes and distributes a resource directory, a comprehensive list of organizations providing
counseling or referral services for drug and alcohol abuse, psychiatric care, support groups, crisis intervention and
other assistance. We provide numerous educational workshops to people of all ages and host an annual Recognition Day
event to honor the creative efforts of our youth.
