How do I sort my recycling?
You don't! RecycleBank is Cherry Hill's 'single stream' solution,
and all recyclable products including glass, plastics 0, 1, 2, tin,
aluminum, paper, and cardboard should all be deposited into your
blue RecycleBank bin. You don't have to rinse the containers, but rinsing cuts down on odor.

When and how do I put out leaves and grass clippings?
Only on your recycling day, place in uncovered standard containers (with no dirt) or in open
bio-degradable bags (plastic bags are strongly discouraged). Do not put out bagged grass clippings at curbside until the night before your recycling day. Do not mix with regular trash because state law prohibits the dumping of grass in landfills or
incinerators. You can read the complete trash and recycling
guidelines
here.
When and how do I put out tree limbs and branches?
Only on your recycling day, tie and bundle not to exceed four feet in length or 60 pounds in weight. Do not put out until the night before your recycling day.

What do I do with bicycles, refrigerators, air conditioners, dishwashers, hot water heaters and pieces of metal?

The recycling truck just took my recycling, but left my yard waste. Why?
Yard waste is picked up by a separate truck.
Why hasn't my street been plowed?
Completing a route from start to finish takes time, and it is simply not possible to plow every street at the same time. In cases in which the duration of the storm is lengthy, it is likely that the route had been plowed and has since been covered with additional snow. Be assured that all streets
are plowed as quickly as possible. You can read the complete
snow removal guidelines
here.
Why did you plow my car and/or driveway in?
The plows must push the snow to the side in order to clear the street. It is not possible to avoid plowing snow into driveways and/or cars that are parked on the street.
