How do I report potholes?

Not all roads in Cherry Hill are maintained by the Township. We're happy to relay your concerns, but if you would like to reach the Camden County Highway Department directly, please call 566-2980. Here's a list of County-maintained roads:

When will they pave my road?
Each road pavement is different and has its own timetable. To inquire as to when the Township plans to repave a particular road, call the Township Engineering Department: 424-3203.

How do I report broken traffic signals?
Police Traffic Safety: 488-7820

Will the Township replace cracked/damaged curbs or sidewalks?
Curbs and sidewalks are the responsibility of the homeowner to maintain, including any repairs and or replacements. Prior to performing any work you must obtain a permit from the Construction Code Office located at 820 Mercer St. in Room 205. For more information, please contact the Engineering Department at 424-3203.

How do I report drainage problems?

How do I report problems with existing sewer lines?
Before 3pm: Township Public Works Department sewer line, 424-0850
After 3pm: Police Dispatch Department, 665-1200

How do I locate a lateral?

Whom do I ask about recreation facilities?
Parks and Recreation Department: 488-7868

How do I report damage to parks and/or recreation facilities?
If you notice damage to one of our existing parks or recreational facilities, please report the damage immediately to the Township Department of Recreation at 488-7868 or the Township Engineering Department at 424-3203.

How do I report burnt-out street lights?
Electric street lights: PSE&G 1-800-436-7734
(Please have pole number and nearest intersecting street.)
Gas powered street lights: Township Engineering Department, 424-3203

How do I request new street lighting?
Township Engineering Department: 424-3203

Whom do I contact about grading permits?
When doing any construction or general grading work that alters the land or requires earthwork in excess of 500 square feet, a grading permit is needed. Grading permits are issued by the Department of Code Enforcement: 488-7855.

How do I apply for a right of way permit?
When construction must be done, either by a resident or a contractor within the Township's "Right of Way" (the street, curb area and/or sidewalk area), a right of way permit is required. These are issued by the Department of Code Enforcement: 488-7855.

How do I apply for a tree removal permit?
