Revitalizing a Gateway Site through Private Sector Partnership

Built in the 1970s at the intersection of Route 70 and Cuthbert Boulevard, the Executive Campus remained only partially occupied for years. Despite its prime location, this one million square-foot complex suffered under absentee landlords and poor planning. To address the concerns, the Township and the Economic Development Council (now the Business Partnership) developed a revitalization plan.

The Township encouraged environmentally-sensitive developers to purchase the buildings, renovate the facilities and embark on an aggressive marketing campaign to attract quality companies. Major improvements to buildings and upgraded parking, internal roads, landscaping and street lighting have been completed- all without taxpayer dollars.
