Jim Bannar CouncilmanJim is a 45 year resident of Cherry Hill and resides in the Erlton south section with his wife, Susan and their two sons, Jim and Alexander. A graduate of Cherry Hill High School West, Jim attended Camden County College where he studied fire science. Jim served as a volunteer firefighter for the Erlton Fire Company for ten years and then worked as a professional firefighter for 25 years. Jim has retired from the fire service and now is working as a fire safety consultant. Elected as councilman in November of 2009, Jim began serving as councilman in January of 2010. He continues to spearhead an effort to revitalize Cherry Hill’s neighborhood watch and civic groups. Jim is an active high school football official for the Ed Meyer South Jersey Football officials association. Jim enjoys an occasional game of golf and spending time with his family.
