Cherry Hill Launches New Website Creating Virtual Town Hall

Cherry Hill Launches New Website Creating Virtual Town HallRedesigned site provides twenty-four seven access to Township information and services

(Cherry Hill, NJ) Mayor Chuck Cahn announced today that Cherry Hill has launched a new, redesigned website that creates a virtual Town Hall for residents, visitors, and businesses. While the Township’s web address has not changed and remains the same,, visitors to the site will experience a completely new look and feel, along with many increased capabilities.

“This new website will serve as our online Town Hall, providing access to my administration and our Township government at any time,” said Mayor Cahn. “We designed the site with a focus on providing our residents, visitors, and businesses the ability to easily and quickly find the information and answers they are looking for.”

The “My Dashboard” feature of the site allows users to customize their experience, making it possible to choose Township information and alerts they receive from the website based on their interests and preferences. Once the user creates a profile, they can then also use the “Report A Concern” feature, which enables residents to submit requests, view pending issues, reopen closed issues, request additional information, and more. This feature will promote additional interaction between our Township staff and the constituents we serve.

The new site also features a more expanded, user-friendly Events Calendar so that residents are able to see what is going on across our community. Visitors to the site can get the latest Township news, headlines, and information, along with the Mayor’s Weekly Review and Public Calendar, all pushed directly to them through the new “Notify Me” feature. Along with the launch of the new website, Mayor Cahn encouraged people to engage with the Township on other social media platforms.

“In addition to the new website, people can also continue to follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, or sign-up to receive our electronic communications through the “Notify Me” alerts feature,” said Mayor Cahn. “We truly are listening to the feedback we receive and incorporating the suggestions as we conduct the business of the Township. At the same time, we want to use these platforms to keep our residents informed about the goings on around Cherry Hill.”

The new site increases the online integration between many of the Township departments including Police, Fire, EMS and Public Works. The re-designed Cherry Hill website also enhances the Township’s efforts at providing greater transparency under Mayor Cahn’s administration. Township Council, Planning Board, and Zoning Board meetings are all posted on the calendar in advance to encourage public involvement. The Mayor’s public schedule is also posted, as is and public bid information regarding services requested by the Township. The website also includes links to search Township resolutions and ordinances, along with providing visitors Township budget information and frequently asked questions.

“Our new website will enable increased transparency and allow for quicker, more efficient access to Township information,” said Mayor Cahn.
