WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS today, faculty, students and staff at Resurrection Catholic School have come together to honor, celebrate and thank their beloved school secretary, Patricia Naddeo , as she prepares to retire after dedicating 33 years of her life to education; and
WHEREAS the role of the secretary is taxed with an infinitely varied set of demands and responsibilities; and
WHEREAS the school secretary is a key player in communicating with parents and community members about what’s happening at school. They are critical members of the school’s team and vital to the educational process; and
WHEREAS Mrs. Naddeo started her career in 1981 at the Learning Center of St. Peter Celestine which would later be renamed Resurrection Catholic School, she then moved to the Main Office as the secretary ; and
WHEREAS during her tenure, Mrs. Naddeo has been an asset to everyone who has graced the doors of the school; and
WHEREAS Mrs. Naddeo’s cheery and patient personality has won the hearts of parents, students, faculty, and staff at Resurrection School; and
WHEREAS no one will be able to fill the void that Mrs. Naddeo’s retirement will leave, she will be greatly missed by all.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby proclaim Friday, December 19, 2014, to be
Patricia Naddeo Day
in the Township of Cherry Hill, and do urge all citizens to join with me and the members of Township Council in thanking Mrs. Naddeo for her 33 years of service to St. Peter Celestine and Resurrection Catholic School, and in wishing her all the best as she begins this new chapter in life.
