WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS medical assistants are multi-skilled allied health professionals who perform a wide range of administrative and clinical roles with skill, dedication and loyalty; and
WHEREAS medical assistants are the central figures in promoting and maintaining cooperative and successful relationships between patients and physicians; and
WHEREAS medical assistants are vital members of the health care delivery system; and
WHEREAS medical assistants make a substantial contribution to the quality of health care in the United States;
WHEREAS the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township wish to recognize the Harris School of Business for its continued education of talented, professional Medical Assistants provide care to patients here in Cherry Hill and across our region.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby recognize the week of Oct. 20-24, 2014, as
Medical Assistants Recognition Week
in the Township of Cherry Hill and do urge all citizens to join with me and Council in supporting and acknowledging the dedication, skills and daily contributions Medical Assistants make as a critical part of the health care delivery system in our community, and throughout the United States.
