Four Cherry Hill Residents received the Camden County Freedom Medals for their commitments to Cherry Hill and Camden County in their individual areas.
WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS On January 20, four Cherry Hill Residents received the Camden County Freedom Medals for their commitments to Cherry Hill and Camden County in their individual areas of Sustainability, Health and Welfare, Education and Community Commitment, and Support of Troops; and
WHEREAS each recipient exemplifies the meaning of community service through their unselfish contributions to improving their community; and
WHEREAS recipients continue to be active participants in making Cherry Hill Township the great community it is today; and
WHEREAS the Mayor and Council are truly in awe of all four recipients’ levels of generosity and kindness, which should serve as inspiration to all.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby proclaim January 23, 2012, as
Freedom Medal Honors Day
in the Township of Cherry Hill and do urge all citizens to join with me and Council in recognizing their incredible contribution to humanity, and in thanking them for their willingness to serve our community.
