WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS on April 22, 2012 Temple Beth Sholom honored Edward Adleman, Sandy and Jeffrey Brown, and Rabbi Micah Peltz, at the Inaugural Tribute dinner for their dedication, commitment, and unwavering devotion to the Congregation and the Cherry Hill community; and
WHEREAS members since 1989, Sandy and Jeffrey Brown are active members in the synagogue holding various positions, Sandy as a member of the TBS Board, prior Vice President of Fundraising, and member of the Advisory Board of Jewish Family and Children Services, Jeff as an Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of Wakefern Food Corporation and Philadelphia Youth Network; and
WHEREAS Sandy and Jeffrey Brown are exceptional members of the Temple Beth Sholom and greater Cherry Hill community, setting an unsurpassed example of role models; and
WHEREAS Mayor Cahn and Township Council are honored to recognize the exemplary efforts of Good Samaritans and community leaders such as Sandy and Jeffrey Brown; and
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby proclaim Sunday, April 22, 2012, as Temple Beth Sholom Edward Adleman Tribute Day
