WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS on April 22, 2012, at the Temple Beth Sholom Tribute Dinner honored Edward Adleman, Sandy and Jeffrey Brown, and Rabbi Micah Peltz, each for their dedication , commitment, and unwavering devotion to the Congregation and the Cherry Hill community; and
WHEREAS long time Congregation member, Edward Adleman, has held positions such as President of the Men’s Club, member of Executive Committee and Board of Directors, Secretary/Treasurer of the Board, President of the Jewish Senior Housing and Healthcare Services, and a member of the Jewish Federation School Board; and
WHEREAS Edward Adleman is a pillar of consistent devotion and dedication both to Temple Beth Sholom and the Cherry Hill Township Community; and
WHEREAS Mayor Cahn and Township Council are honored to recognize the exemplary efforts of Good Samaritans and community leaders such as Edward Adleman; and NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby proclaim Sunday, April 22, 2012, as
Temple Beth SholomEdward Adleman Tribute Day
in the Township of Cherry Hill and do urge all citizens to join with me and Council in recognizing Edward Adleman for his dedication and lifelong commitment to Temple Beth Sholom and Cherry Hill Township.
