WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS as active members of the Kingston Environmental Club, students Nicholas and Naomi Aristone, work hard and are committed to keeping the school area clean for all students and neighborhood residents; and
WHEREAS as a result of the watchful eye and initiative taken by these two committed citizens, the Kingston school grounds were cleaned and cleared of trash and other debris, and a committed effort is now being taken to maintain and beautify the Kingston school property; and
WHEREAS Nicholas and Naomi Aristone have set an admirable and noteworthy example for the Township in community service and environmental clean-up efforts; and
WHEREAS Mayor and Township Council are honored to recognize the exemplary efforts of Good Samaritans and community leaders such as Nicholas and Naomi Aristone, whose selfless acts of environmental initiative and cooperation make and keep Cherry Hill the wonderful town it is today.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby proclaim Monday, March 12, 2012, as
Nicholas & Naomi Aristone Day
in the Township of Cherry Hill and do urge all citizens to join with me and Council in recognizing Nicholas and Naomi for their commitment to keep the Kingston schoolyard a clean and safe place for all.
