WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS tonight, the Cherry Hill chapter of the Jersey Off Road Bicycling Association will host its annual Halloween Mountain Bike Night Ride and Costume Contest; and
WHEREAS for several years, this event has been a staple of our local JORBA chapter, providing a fun way to celebrate the holiday in costume, while enjoying the beauty of Cherry Hill’s Kresson Trails; and
WHEREAS the Kresson Trails, maintained with great care by Jay Jones and the Cherry Hill Trail Crew, are a true gem for the Cherry Hill community, giving residents from all over an opportunity to connect with nature and stay active without leaving the Township; and
WHEREAS the Halloween Night Ride and Costume Contest is a wonderful community activity, and this year, will support the Cherry Hill Food Pantry and Food Bank of South Jersey, and for this reason, we are happy to honor and celebrate the occasion.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill in the County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby wish to honor and thank

for hosting this terrific event for yet another year in the Township of Cherry Hill, and do urge all citizens to join with me and Council in thanking Jay Jones and all involved in this event for their leadership, and their work to support, promote and celebrate our local trail system.
