  1. Filming of Weight of the Nation

    July 24, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club

    Filming of an HBO documentary, 'The Weight of the Nation'. A compelling view of our nation's battle with obesity. The documentary will explore solutions being offered and utilized in some communities. Dr. Steven Gerber will facilitate discussions on the medical perspective of the documentary during and after filming. Guests will be invited to take the Mayor's Wellness Pledge and in return will be offered free used of the fitness club for 3 weeks. A trainer will be present to offer BMI calculations.

  1. Music Under the Stars featuring Bobby Block Trio

    July 24, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Barclay Farmstead

    Bring a chair, blanket and even a picnic dinner, just don’t forget your appetite for great music! Each evening features a different musical adventure at the historic Barclay Farmstead. The second concert of the series features the Bobby Block Trio. You’ll be dancing on the front lawn of the Farmstead to Big Band and contemporary music performed by the Bobby Block Trio. You’ll be laughing and clapping along with every song. New this summer are opening acts. Guests can hear an ‘up-and-coming’ musical act each night before the featured band.
