The Cherry Hill Fire Department will, upon request provide a staffed apparatus to be displayed at any community based event within the township of Cherry Hill. Event attendees will have an opportunity to meet the firefighters serving their community along with getting an in depth look at the equipment they use to handle emergency situations.
Requesting a Fire Apparatus Display Complete and submit the request form or call the Community Education Officer at 856-795-9805, extension 1333, to request a display or make an inquiry; you may also submit an email. Note that requests for fire apparatus displays must be made a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the event. The maximum time allowed for the display is 2 hours.
A parking area must be provided where the fire apparatus can safely enter and exit. The apparatus is staffed with on-duty firefighters and may need to quickly exit in the event of an emergency call.
Displays are typically limited to events sponsored by organizations having community, civic, educational and religious affiliations where firefighters can provide fire safety information to Cherry Hill residents and their guests.
