Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm Compliance Certification Inspection

Selling a home?
When selling a one or two family home in Cherry Hill, you must obtain a Certificate of Smoke Alarm and Carbon Monoxide Detector Compliance prior to the settlement. 

  • Please submit your request for inspection three to four weeks prior to the settlement date.
  • The certificate will be issued at the time of the inspection if the home is compliant and payment is received.
  • CHFD inspection requirements, fees & diagrams CHECKLIST.
  • The home must be prepared prior to the inspection appointment!
