Responsibilities
The Cherry Hill Police Department Internal Affairs Unit is committed to ensuring that law enforcement services are provided in a fair, effective and impartial manner. Toward that end, officers are held to the highest of standards of official conduct and are required to respect the rights of all citizens. Officers’ adherence to these standards, motivated by moral and professional obligation to perform their jobs to the best of their ability, is the ultimate objective of this agency.

It is the policy of the Cherry Hill Police Department’s Internal Affairs Unit to accept and investigate all complaints of alleged officer misconduct or wrongdoing from any citizen or agency employee.
