Volunteers needed for CHEB Outreach Corps.
The Cherry Hill Environmental Board (CHEB) takes care of our town's natural Open Space lands. Not only does CHEB develop and maintain trails, and manages these lands for wildlife and native plant species, they also make a major effort to connect people with nature through nature outreach.
This is where you can come in. CHEB needs outreach volunteers to create an Outreach Corps that will help spread the works about nature and the opportunities to connect. If you love nature and want to help others feel the same wonder, here's a great opportunity. CHEB conducts a number of nature outreach events annually and you could be a member of the team: the CHEB Outreach Corps.
What kind of events would you participate in? CHEB runs the Nature State at Sustainable South Jersey Earth Festival, and Cherry Hill's Harvest Festival, coordinates Cherry Hill's Migratory Bird Day, provides nature and trail information at Senior events and guides walks on Cherry Hill Trails. Don't be concerned about gaining a large knowledge of nature, CHEB members will provide training specific to the event. You'll learn a lot and excite others to explore and appreciate nature.
Please contact CHEB Liaison Earle Seneres, at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more and join the CHEB Outreach Corps.
Abe Ferdas, CHEB member, staffs a CHEB booth at a community event to promote Cherry Hill Trails.
